A Day in the Life of an Architect
As a key player in our client’s projects, you’ll manage the development of architectural documents while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s mission of delivering high-quality designs across a variety of sectors, from commercial to municipal projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and refining project documents in coordination with the project manager
- Collaborating with team members to create innovative and technical solutions
- Ensuring project deliverables meet high-quality standards within timelines and budgets
- Leveraging expertise in architectural processes from schematic design to project completion
- Communicating project progress and solutions effectively to clients and regulatory bodies
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s preferred)
- Texas licensed Architect or ability to obtain Texas license by comity
- 5-10 years of experience as a Project Architect or 15 years as a Job Captain
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Sketchup is a plus
- Knowledge of international building codes and regulatory standards
- Strong creative, visualization, and communication skills; willingness to travel occasionally
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
